The School of Mathematical Sciences is committed to strengthening its faculty through a talent-oriented development strategy. A range of initiatives have been implemented to support faculty growth and career development, with the aim of building a high-quality academic team that is well-structured, dynamic, professionally competent, and committed to academic integrity.

The school currently has 66 full-time faculty members, including 16 professors and 14 associate professors. Nearly 20 faculty members have overseas study or research experience. In addition, 6 faculty members have been selected for the Tianjin "131"  Innovative Talent Cultivation Project, and 2 have received support from the Tianjin Higher Education Outstanding Young Teacher Program.

Faculty members are organized into several stable research teams according to their research interests. The main research areas include Functional Analysis and Applications, Combinatorics and Optimization, Nonlinear Analysis and Differential Equations, and Wavelet Analysis and Applications. These research teams provide strong support for the academic development of the school.
