The school was officially approved to confer doctoral degrees in Mathematics as a first-level discipline in 2024. It currently admits full-time, non-directed doctoral students through three pathways: general admission, master-doctoral continuous study, and direct admission from undergraduate study. General admission is conducted through an application-and-assessment system.
The current doctoral admission areas are Applied Mathematics, Pure Mathematics, and Operations Research and Control Theory. The main research directions are as follows:
l Applied Mathematics:
Computer Vision Theory and Applications; Wavelet Analysis; Combinatorics.
l Pure Mathematics:
Functional Analysis; Nonlinear Dynamical Systems.
l Operations Research and Control Theory:
Supply Chain Management; Combinatorial Optimization.
